Asturias is participating with a 9 square metre stand at the International Ornithological Tourism Fair (FIO), which is celebrating its 21st edition in the Monfragüe National Park, in Villarreal de San Carlos (Serradilla, Cáceres).

Our destination arouses great interest in Extremadura as it is highly valued in the field of observation, ecotourism and nature, given its high quality as a sustainable destination and the protection of its spaces.

Asturias will offer information on nature tourism and specialise in ecotourism (flora and fauna observation) and in this eighth edition in which we are participating, we hope to consolidate the offer and the growth of this very specific niche of visitors. It is interesting to note the high level of enquiries received, which were very specific and from a very demanding public, as well as being knowledgeable about the territory.

Within the framework of this fair, a B2B professional meeting will also be held in which Asturias will participate with an extensive agenda of meetings with participants such as travel agents specialised in ornithological and nature tourism, from markets such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Holland, Germany, France, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, the United States, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria and Norway.
